This is my tiny towel! Deal with it!
I only have a few minutes on the computer while Cole's in the shower because the little darlin' wants to READ! I am joyful about this. The only bad part is that we're reading The Magician's Nephew (which is the first book in The Chronicles of Narnia series) and it's a damn hard book to read outloud. I've found myself tripping over sentences more in this book than in any other. I literally have to go back and reread them because I completely lose the thread of the sentence. I'm still thrilled that the boy enjoys reading. Yay!
My sixth sense about cops and speed traps seems to have come alive again. Yes, it was dormant for a while. Now I just have to remember to listen when that little voice in my head tells me that there's a cop hidden around the corner. No, I haven't been pulled over or ticketed yet, but I have to listen or what's the use of having a cool sixth sense?
The fam (extended) went to dinner at my grandma's house because her sister (my great-aunt) is up from down south (Long Beach, to be exact) and any excuse to sit down and eat together is a good excuse. We had ice cream sundaes. Yummy. Plus, Hailey, Cole and I managed to watch about half of Superman Returns. Again. I've warned Heather that if Hailey wears out my disc, she will owe me a new one.
It's Sunday! BSG! Yay!
