That whole thing just FELL!

The kids were school free today which was cool and all since they kept on opposite sides of the house and I didn't have to bind and gag them to get some peace and quiet. Actually, Cole went to his dad's house for most of the day and hence there was blessed silence.

Speaking of which, this is the last week of school before summer vacation. I'm looking forward to the no homework portion of that but not so much to the constant fighting and the fact that I don't get to be a self-absorbed slug. I mean, I have to make sure they eat on a semi-regular basis. Sometimes I forget to make sure that I eat regularly.

Does anybody besides myself ever question how I managed to raise a child through almost 12 years of life without crashing and burning spectacularly?

Okay. Books.
Book #214 - Wings (Wings #1) by Aprilynne Pike - My biggest issue with this book is that I really feel like it was written for the younger YA set. Which isn't so much an issue as just a thing. You know?
Book #215 - Familiar by Michelle Rowen - An interesting little short story that I wouldn't have minded a bit more length on.
Book #216 - No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After dark #3) by Kresley Cole - I have ridiculous amounts of love for this series. It's so fun and fluffy that I can't put it down.
Book #217 - Heart of the Witch by Alicia Dean - Not terrible but not great. It was just... meh.
In My Mailbox - I got a couple Melissa Marr books for the signing this Friday and a few freebies. Yay!
