GUYS! Stop the motherfucking presses! I hit 50K on my NaNo story!
YES, YOU DID READ THAT CORRECTLY! It's November 18th and I've written 50,000 words. I'm going to go collapse and die now. No, not really. I'm thrilled with what I've managed to get done but the story itself isn't finished yet. I'm hoping to wrap it up within 75K words. In theory, I can get it done by the end of the month. In theory.
So, here are my stats!
*falls down and curls up in a whimpering ball*
I'm taking the rest of the night off, but I'll be back to it tomorrow.
Book stuff:
I finished book 2 of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead late last night and posted my review this morning - Frostbite. It's long and wordy and I get to talk about the different characters and how they've evolved and matured since book 1. I threw in a few quotes that caught my fancy at the end. The last quote, for those of you who have read up through the current book, took me by surprise. I had to go back and re-read it and I had this total WHOA moment. It was cool.
30 days of books... Day 67 - Contemporary romance. *shakes head* I'm not sure what I was thinking.
I want to get the 3rd VA book read tonight. I don't know if it's going to happen, but I'm going to give it a try.
