Blow me away ...

Halloween is my favorite holiday. Well, Halloween and Christmas are my favorite holidays. But Halloween holds a special place in my heart. I dressed up like a witch. This is no big surprise because when I do dress up I always dress as a witch. It's the one time of year I can let my true colors shine through in costume. Also, I have this wicked cool purple dress. NEAT! However, Hailey informed me that I couldn't be a witch because I didn't have a pointy hat or a broom. At which point Cole snidely informed Hailey that I am indeed a witch and my broom is in the corner. No fooling. My broom really is in the corner. In real life. This made me think, though. I really don't have a cool pointy hat to go with my cool dress. I will have to fix that.

Update on the earthquake: It did not last 10-12 seconds as was previously reported on the news (and by me). It lasted around 30 seconds. That's a cold lifetime when the world's rumbling around you. The good thing is that the quake was a rolling one and not the terribly jolting (and much more frightening) up and down variety. The up and down ones knock things over and break things. The rollers just kinda rumble through. It's weird how much noise they make. It's somewhat unexpected.

I'm downtown doing interviews tomorrow. That means that I'll be home early. Yay! Oh! I have to remember to put some pictures of Hailey and Cole in costume up. They both looked so darn cute.
