I've just spent some quality time adding fun and exciting things to my Amazon wishlist. What? My family gets mad at me if it's not ready and willing for my birthday. Sure, sure ... my b-day's not for a couple of months, but I always say "Shop early and shop often." *g* Not that they listen all that closely, but I do tell them that every chance I get.
Speaking of family, they gave me an angry moment this morning. Cole and I slept in until almost 8 today. So, when I go tup I told my mom and sister that they could go to Target without me if they so desired. My mom presented the option of running some other errands whilst I showered and then going to Target after. At this point I left the room to take a shower. Cut to me finished showering and waiting impatiently for the fam to get back from whatever errands they had to run. I waited 30 minutes for them to finally show up and what have they been doing? Shopping at Target. Somehow they forgot to mention to me that they had decided to go without me. Yes, I did say that they could go, but I was left with the understanding that they had decided to do some other stuff and wait for me. Boy, was I wrong. Cole and I ended up going alone. Once again, it wasn't the going alone that bothered me, it was the waiting for them when I thought we'd all be going together. I could have left 30 minutes earlier. Get it?
Enough ranting.
Does anybody know when it's time to change the lightbulbs in your overhead fan? My guess would be that when 3 of your 4 bulbs go out and you can barely see in the gloom. Yep, that's when you should do it. I was faced with that scenario today (which was just one reason why I had to go to Target).
I'm off to watch something mindless.
