This is called "fly by the seat of your pants" journalling!

I'm leaving. Soon. I managed to get packed last night. I even ended up in a better mood once Heather and I weren't in direct contact with one another anymore. Sometimes siblings can just piss you off. I'm sure everyone who has a sibling knows this.

This morning I burned a CD for the trip, made sure my phone was charged, and contemplated if I should take any books with me (I ultimately decided against it but did pack two journals. Because I write. A lot. Plus, I'm hoping to finish my SGA Sheppard-likes-to-go-bowling story. Soon. Like before my next birthday. Which is in a month. *ahem* Not that I'm implying anything or anything but I always say "Shop early and shop often". *ahem*). I made Cole and I breakfast (fried eggs. See, I can cook!) and walked him to school where he told me (in a somewhat jaded voice) "Substitute today" when he saw the sub. It was a wee bit funny. I wore my jacket with the furry collar. Have I ever mentioned that I love jackets with fur-lined hoods? This one doesn't have a hood but the furry collar makes up for that. Yeah, I'm a dork.

jenahna and kimbrchick, we're still on for seeing Serenity together, right? I'm getting really jazzed about that one. Psst, Jenn! I watched Underworld over the last two nights! How I love that movie! Psst, tinamishi! Wentworth Miller plays one of the doctors in Underworld. He's not half as pretty as he is in PB, though, because he doesn't have his pretty prison cut. His hair's kinda long and funny looking. In fact, I had to rewind a couple of times to make sure it was really him.

Okay. The Lost season 1 DVD - Excellent. It's loaded with extras. It's loaded with easter eggs. The extras pretty much rock. I was especially taken in by the deleted scenes. "Finding the Tell" is probably my favorite. It's Locke's take on all the castaways. And it's more or less dead on. Watch it.
