Before I forget and because I haven't missed it yet (let me think, it's 8 here and Texas is two hours ahead so I'm still in the game no matter how you look at it) ... Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] slayerjenn!

I have an amusing tuna story to tell ...
I like tuna sandwiches. There was a time (back in my youth, oh so long ago) when I wouldn't admit that for anything. I don't really know why. I just didn't think it was cool to like tuna sandwiches. I was stupid and young. Anyway. I'm over that now and can totally walk into Togos and be all, "Bitches! Small tuna on rustic white, swiss, light on the mayo!" I'm all over that! The point in all this is that at some point in the past my mom had bought two different brands of tuna - Chicken of the Sea and the Costco brand. I like one and am not so keen on the other. Except that I can't remember which is which. So, after Cole's swim lessons I found that I was very hungry and didn't want to actually cook anything (those snorts of derision were [livejournal.com profile] jenahna, [livejournal.com profile] ebarnon and [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03 who have all had the misfortune of either seeing me cook or actually eating what I've cooked) ... (Oh, and nobody had better bring up the pizza being cooked with the cardboard still attached to it incident!) ... (Yes, it really happened. I have no pride.) and so decided to make a tuna sandwich. Cut to 5 minutes later where I'm staring at the two brands of tuna and mentally going over which one I like. I never did remember and wound up eating the Costco brand. It wasn't a great sandwich but I think that was more because of the lack of pickle relish than anything else.

Okay. Onto movies. I watched Collateral last night. Why do I care if I spoil anyone on this? )

I'm done!
