The rest of us know

Arrgh. Family. For the second weekend in a row, I set my alarm and got up early on Saturday so that I could take a shower and have Cole and myself ready to go to Target at 8. For the second weekend in a row I received blank stares from my mom and sister when I told them that I was ready to leave. Dammit. I got up early so I could be clean before I went out. Not that I'm not normally clean, but I made an effort to be ready to go by 8 (Target opens at 8 and I like to be there early). If I was running late and my sister wanted to go she'd be bitch slapping me up and down main street. What the fuck makes her so special? I ended up leaving at 8:40 with my sister and niece. And Cole, of course. Hailey threw a temper tantrum while in the store. Yeah, I think that Cole and I will go alone next weekend.

*deep breath*

I got my hair done today. Heather's boyfriend told me I looked like a punk rocker. I'm a little flattered by that. It's short (again) and dark with blond highlights. For a change of pace I had the hairstylist give me bangs. Sort of long, swept to the side ... Well, I like them.

Last night ... I watched the pilot for Stargate Atlantis. Whoo-hoo. It was so much better when I saw the entire thing in one sitting. Oddly, I kept saying, "Oh, I've seen this scene. But not this one. I know what's coming up, but I don't know how they got to that point." Anyway, it was fun to see it in it's entirety.
After SGA, I watched The X-Files. Episode 13 - Irresistible. Creeeepy. "Is your hair dry or normal?" Yikes. I loved *loved* Scully's breakdown at the end. The way she's clinging to Mulder is so awesome. I see shadows of things to come.
Really.

I have to go make onion dip now. Mmm... onion dip.
