Apparently, while driving down from Washington my Aunt ran into complications. Some of the roads through the mountains between here and there are closed, forcing them to backtrack and take an alternate route. Meaning, they're still several hours away and we won't be having margaritas tonight. Pooh.

Anyway. Cole's soccer game was fun. He ran around like the rugrat he is and burned off a whole bunch of energy (which, quite weirdly, made me sleepy to watch. Yes, I took a nap!) and then we watched Interceptor Force 2 on Sci-Fi. I love that channel. It makes me grin. The girl who played Xena's daughter, Eve, was one of the main characters and it took me the ENTIRE movie to place her. Seriously, between this and the Ian Holm incident I really feel like I'm off my game.

I kinda, sorta have an urge to make new layouts for my various sites. Sure, I should probably blog or something over at Soulswallo, but LAYOUTS! They want me to make them. I guess I could just make more icons. Icons are fun. Plus, I can play with lots of different fandoms with icons.

I know that some people *coughebarnoncough* will mock me for this for the rest of time but ... The end of Dark Water made me cry. Seriously. Maybe it's a mom thing, but that ending just grabbed me and bitch slapped me. Damn thing. Still, I was finally able to finish the movie (I think it's been languishing half-watched since Christmas) and now I don't have to fret about it. So, there!

I didn't start out with all that much to say. It didn't seem to stop me, did it?
I may be back later with the Firefly story I finished a few days ago.

and THANKS for making me out to be some sort of insensitive prick. ha. don't you giggle a bit when you're getting blood drawn and the nurse says, "ok you're gonna feel a little prick."! i'm usually like "um no! i just need some blood drawn, thank you very much."

i continued 'king kong' after you went to bed. all i can say is, damn. it was so sad. not that i didn't already know what happens to the kong, i mean you just KNEW it wasn't gonna end on a good note, but still....

overall, very awesome of a movie! although i can see why it didn't do so well in the theaters. look at the turnover. not 3 months later and you can enjoy it from the comforts of your own home. i dug it!

my frog is driving me fucking bananas! all he does is try and get out of his cage. not that i blame him, i would too if i lived with me. he ended up in my bathroom last night cuz he was making so much godamn noise. but fuck, if he continues i'm gonna make some 18 year old frog legs for lunch. fucker.
