Herein lies the post I wrote up on Monday.

...

Cole's been watching Naruto the last few days and it's kinda annoying me. I really don't remember it being so ... loud. And braying. God, I feel like I'm getting old when cartoons are starting to bug the fuck out of me. The loudness is especially annoying because I'm trying to finish up a scene in the EWM#1 and I really can't concentrate with it blaring behind me. You might be thinking "Well, Kelly. Send Cole out of your room and you won't have to listen to that damn show." You'd be correct. Yet, I'd rather bitch at the moment.

I'm pleased to announce that I finished reading the last of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books I own. It was an emotional journey, yet I did it.

I think I want to attempt to finish that EWM#1 scene one more time. Which means I have to babble about books for a minute...
Book #293 - Lover Mine (Black Dagger Brotherhood #8) by J.R. Ward - Outstanding worldbuilding, characters that don't quit and storylines that are revisited and expanded brilliantly... I'm in love with this entire series. LOVE!

That last BDB book was a 2 day book. 2 days of concentrated reading. It was lengthy. And fabulous. I'm tempted to get the next in the series but I keep reminding myself that I want to wait until it comes out in paperback so it'll fit on the shelf with the rest of the BDB books. I know. Awesome plan.

I'm done.

I'm deep into finishing up book 6-8 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. These books pretty much kill me. Every one of them. They have so much that happens with the secondary characters that it's amazing. Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with all the emotion and action but at the same time it amazes me. Just... whoa.

Over the last few days I've been having a constant stream of plot running through my head regarding my Epic Werewolf Masterpiece #1. I can see where the editing needs to go in order to link it up to the part of the story that I've already written. This is exciting!

Okay. Bookish stuff:
Book #291 - Father Mine: Zsadist and Bella's Story (Black dagger Brotherhood #6.5) by J.R. Ward - Z is my man. Zsadist is pretty much the epitome of what I look for in a damaged hero. He's insanely fantastic to read about.
Book #292 - Lover Avenged (Black Dagger Brotherhood #7) by J.R. Ward - Since I've started this series, no one has even come close to being as awesome as Zsadist. Until Rehvenge. For a drug dealing pimp who's half sociopath by birth, he's outstanding. The fact that I was caught up in his spell at all just goes to show you how perfectly J.R. Ward wrote him.
In My Mailbox - Not a ton of books this week, but a decent haul.

Okay. I'm off to do things. Very important things. Obviously.

I'm having a moment here. In a good way. I have to take Heather and Hailey to the airport at the ungodly hour of 4:30 tomorrow morning so I decided that I'm not going to sleep tonight. No big, right? I have Wednesday off, I'll sleep then.

Since I'm not sleeping tonight, I decided to put my writing plan into action. I'm going to challenge myself to write a minimum of 2000 new words on any one of the stories I have currently languishing plus do some editing on the Epic Werewolf Masterpiece #1. In theory, I want to finish my current pass on editing so I can do a full read-through on the EWM#1 to check for inconsistencies. However, since I'm not home at the moment I don't have any hard numbers on how many pages I have left to edit. I think it's a lot (around 100 in Word) so I don't want to give myself an insane goal and then get nowhere near completing it unless I can clone myself.

Am I right?

So. 2K new words and a good chunk of editing on the EWM#1. Totally doable!

I'm going to try to do mini updates throughout the evening to keep myself on track. Just word counts and amusing typos. Be warned.

Well, I also have some bookish stuff that I need to get off my chest. Not literally.
Book #276 - This Totally Bites! (Poison Apple) by Ruth Ames - The alst of Hailey's books that I appropriated. This one's about vampires! Awesome!
Book #277 - This Side of the Grave (Night Huntress #5) by Jeaniene Frost - I LOVE this series. Jeaniene Frost has given me the perfect vampiric couple and she makes them all wickedly feral and AWESOME! *love*
Teaser Tuesday (07/12/11) - With a selection from Cat & Bones! Except that I've now finished that book. Good thing I have a back-up book I'm reading! Half-Demons! Yay!

I have a book signing for Gail Carriger (The Parasol Protectorate series) on tap for this coming Thursday and I'm waffling on whether or not I should go. The reason is kinda lame - basically, she wrote an article a while back telling people that they should buy her books as physical books over ebooks because ebook purchases won't help her get on the New York Times bestseller list. My knee jerk reaction to being told that I NEED to buy a book in a certain format is to give someone the finger. I buy ebooks because they're both convenient and I like reading them. Yes, I love my physical books as well. I have a lot of physical books. Telling me I need to do something a certain way rubs me wrong.

So, yeah. I'm totally waffling over whether or not I should go. Still.

And I'm done. I guess I'll read a little more before I have to scoot home for the day.

My baby's home! Cole's been in Palm Desert since Sunday and I've kinda missed the little booger. We'll see how long that lasts. Probably right up to the 5th time he asks me to go downstairs to get him food. I don't get that, btw. Why does he need me to go with him when he gets his food? It's not like I'm getting it for him. I'm just standing there. Weird kid.

I feel like I should apologize for the massive amount of book reviews I'm about to dump on ya'll. So, yeah. Sorry about this...
Book #246 - That Voodoo You Do (That Old Black Magic #1) by Jodi Redford - Oh, I loved this one. Sexy, naughty fun with a territorial cat shifter and a clueless witch. Throw in some zombies and you've got one goooood story.
Book #247 - The Twisted Tale of Stormy Gale by Christine Bell - A fun little steampunk romance about time pirates!
Book #248 - Hard Spell (Supernatural Crimes #1) by Justin Gustainis - Hard boiled urban fantasy with a side of blood and guts. Sweet.
Book #249 - Caressed by Moonlight (Rulers of Darkness #1) by Amanda J. Greene - A sexy paranormal/historical hybrid with vampires.
Book #250 - Blue Galaxy by Diane Dooley - The only one of the bunch that I didn't love. It was just okay as far as sexy sci-fi goes.
Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday & Tagalong Friday (06/24/11) - Favorite fairy stories and some men without a lot of clothes. Hey, I like what I like and I'm not ashamed of it.

Yeah. I had a bunch of books there.

I'm done now.

Today was a nonstop day of people coming into the office to inquire about apartments without actually committing to renting one. It was annoying simply because I think I repeated the same thing about 50 times and have nothing to show for it. Also? It totally cut into my reading time. Isn't that awful?

I don't know if I've actually mentioned this here or just on Twitter but my mom has decided that we're going to start a home cake pop business. We had an order of 30 Cat in the Hat hats that we got yesterday for delivery today. Those were hard. My mom and I spent a couple of hours last night trying to figure out how to make them look like hats and then how to decorate them to look like the Cat's. Diff.i.cult. Allow me to show you in pictures...
Someone ask me what those poo-like things are in the backgrou... on Twitpic These are the Cat in the Hat cake pops we're making. The... on Twitpic

The first pic is my darling boy with the uncoated cake columns in the background. They totally look like poop. Naturally, that means that I had millions of jokes about them. The second pic has the completed hats in the foreground and the half-dipped hats in the background. They turned out so so so so much better than I thought they would. I was impressed with the end product.

So, yeah. Cake pops.

Anyway. Books. I got 'em.
Book #240 - Embraced by Blood (Sweetblood #2) by Laurie London - Vampires! Lovely, lovely vampires! I really like the mythology of this series. It's fun and just different enough to feel fresh.
Book #241 - Kindling the Moon (Arcadia Bell #1) by Jenn Bennett - This was an incredibly fun book. It just worked for me.
Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday & Tagalong Friday (06/17/11) - The TBR pile, favorite genres and one sexy man with a bunch of sexy tattoos.

Okay. I'm off to go watch a few eps of Firefly.
Later.

I am journaling from work today because I have nothing better to do. Except read. But I've already been doing that most of the day and I needed a break. Yes, my life is very hard. Yes, I'm well aware of it. Yes, I promise to never complain about being paid to read at work.

I was holding out hope that [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03 would be back in town for tonight's book signing, but that's a negative. She's in Arizona, therefore I'm booking it alone tonight. Besides the fact that I'll miss her witty and sarcastic comments about everything and her inability to sit still for any legnth of time, I'm not bummed out. I mean, I am, but I'm not. Does that even make sense? No. But that's the way it is. I'll attempt to be sociable on my own. *cue dramatic music* I'm really inept when it comes to talking to people I don't know, btw. Really inept. It still amazes me that I work in a job that requires me to interact with people AND that I'm fairly good at it. You'd think I'd freeze up and start drooling and batting at invisible flying things but no. I can actually act pretty decently in a semi-professional setting. It's all the other settings that get me.

Anyway. I've got a few bookish things to post about:
Book #236 - The Naked Truth (The Confederacy Treaty #1) by Lilly Cain - Sexy sci-fi is so delicious. I really, really liked this one.
Book #237 - Fresh Blood by Jennifer Colgan - Sexy vampires and the women who feed them. With a hint of BDSM and a little blood play, this is one author that I keep enjoying every time I run across her books.
Teaser Tuesday (06/14/11) - Vampries and more vampires. I'm almost done with the 2nd book, too. I'm rocking it this week!

Oh, yay! I've killed another half hour with this post. Soon I'll head out to Menlo Park where I shall drink large quantities of coffee and read a book. Which is exactly what I did this morning, I'll have you know.

Okay. I'm done now.

The kids and I took the dogs to the dog park this morning. Bailey rolled around in every patch of mud and dirt she could find. She was adorably filthy by the time we left. Needless to say, both dogs got a bath today. Heck, I practically needed a bath by the time we were done bathing them.

In totally random news, [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03 had to make an emergency trip out of state and I miss her. I have a book signing I'm going to tomorrow and we would have gone to dinner to catch up on life and various other things (things which mostly involve me inserting the words "cock" and "screaming orgasms" into the conversation while trying to keep my voice down so the patrons at the next table don't hear about sleep orgasms. No fooling. Hey, researching for writing sex scenes is a dirty job and I'm happy to do it!) before the signing but now I'm just going to go, get my book and find a coffee shop to read at until I can read at the bookstore.

Thus far, I've watched all of disc 1 of Firefly with Hailey. Episodes: Serenity parts 1 & 2, The Train Job and Bushwhacked. Hailey still isn't convinced that it's as good as The Walking Dead but I told her she had to give it a chance before making such a sweeping declaration.

And now onto the books...
Book #234 - Shameless (The House of Rohan #4) by Anne Stuart - I really, kinda, pretty much loved this book. Historical shenanigans, FTW!
Book #235 - Solid (Solid #1) by Shelley Workinger - A well-written, nicely fleshed-out young adult novel. It has a mad scientist in it. Well, a mad scientist conducts experiments in the prologue and then the kids he experimented on have to deal with the fallout, so he's not actually in it in it, but... oh, nevermind.
Felicity Heaton's great e-book summer savings - Felicity's offering her newest paranormal vampire romance for $0.99 through July 1st. As an aside, I've read quite a few of her books. And I've liked them all.

Okay. I'm done.

My the power of Grayskull! What in the hell are the kids fighting about now? Seriously! I can't figure it out. They're just annoying each other by looking at one another. I can't handle it. It disturbs me even more when I think that this is only the beginning of summer for them. Arrgh!

And in other, completely unrelated news, Hailey really needs to go to bed now. Really.

Cole had his last flag football game of the season. It was cold and windy and the sky was gorgeous. I took a picture of it...
The sky, she is cloudy.

Cole ran in a touchdown, which is cool. Meanwhile, I'm thrilled that the season is over.

And here's some stuff of a bookish nature...
Book #224 - Accidental Abduction by Eve Langlais - This book was steamy and fun with the added bonus of a big, purple space pirate. It's sexier than it sounds. I swear.
Book #225 - Biting the Bride by Clare Willis - My biggest issue with this book stems from the fact that the synopsis doesn't match up AT ALL with the actual plot. What's that about?
Book #226 - Grave Illusions (Jess Vandermire #1) by Lina Gardiner - Once I got through the first 25% of the book I liked it. However, that beginning was like a slow ride to nowhere.
In My Mailbox - My TBR pile went down this week! I am so excited that I'm almost speechless. Almost.

I think I would cheerfully kill someone for an oatmeal raisin cookie right this moment. A nice soft one with undertones of cinnamon. Yuuuummmmmmmmm.
Okay. I'm done.

Cole and I just watched Hot Fuzz. He swears that it's the first time he's seen it, which I find amusing since I've watched it many, many times and you'd think he would have caught it a time or two just by walking through my room.

He liked it, btw. He said it was "cool and hilarious". Awwww. Mom and son bonding over violent, bloody movies. LOVE IT!

Tomorrow's the last day of school. I'm okay with it for the most part (except for that whole "Hailey and Cole fight constantly and this summer is going to be REALLY LONG" thing) and then I realize that my baby is going to be in SEVENTH GRADE! WTF!?!?! When did my wee beastie get so big? I'm not talking height wise either (although he is nearly as tall as me- damn you, mom and dad, for combining to give me these tiny, tiny genes)... I'm talking HOW DO I HAVE A KID WHO'S ALMOST 12?

*le sigh*

Tomorrow is going to be awesome. I'm heading out to [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03's end of town (well, work-type town) and dragging her off to a book signing. Melissa Marr at Keplers in Menlo Park at 7 pm. I'll be the one with red and black hair trying to talk her BFF into going out for a drink later.

I have some things of a bookish variety to talk about...
Book #221 - Hidden by Blood (Sweetblood #1.5) by Laurie London - Short and sweet, I liked it a lot.
Book #222 - Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark #5) by Kresley Cole - I AM STILL LOVING THIS SERIES! Now with bloodthirsty vampires, sexy ghosts and awesomeness beyond compare!

I am done, people!

This weekend wasn't long enough. I'm used to working on Saturdays (more or less) but I'm also used to having both Sunday and Monday off. This week, due to my boss being on vacation, I'm working Monday thru Friday. That means I had one measly day this weekend to get my lazy on. *sigh* Isn't that just the saddest thing you've ever heard?

It almost makes me want to cry. Not really.

Yeah. So I did all my grocery shopping, planned out what I'm making for next Saturday's Epic Weekend with the Friends, went to Cole's football game and did laundry. My life is so glamorous sometimes it hurts. Physically. Like a sharp shooting pain in my lower back.

Right, I have this book thing I like to do...
Book #206 - Sleepy Hollow Dreams by Taryn Kincaid - So I asked Twitter for some dirty book recommendations last night and author Taryn Kincaid tweeted me back this one. It was just the right amount of naughty for what I had in mind. Thank you, Taryn Kincaid!
Book #207 - A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark #2) by Kresley Cole - Vampires and Werewolves make for a hot combination. Also, I totally love the world created here. It's just... whoa.

I guess I should do that thing where I'm like a responsible adult and go to bed at a normal-ish time so that I can go to work tomorrow. Or something.

Yesterday, as you may recall, I wasn't feeling all that well and I lazed around after work, sleeping and reading. I felt poorly enough that I skipped dinner, which means that around 11 last night I was hit by the munchies. I ignored the hunger pains, though, and just went to bed.

Somehow today was a complete turnaround. I woke up feeling absolutely better (although I was hungry) and I proceeded to do all those things I've been putting off lately. I vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom, dusted, cleaned my room, did some laundry, made some laundry detergent, shaved my legs and napped.

Now, the leg shaving doesn't sound like it would be all that impressive (I do shave on a semi-regular basis, I swear!) but there was a whole hysterical laughter thing I had going on with Cole when I reminded him of the time we were watching Alien Resurrection and how Dan Hedaya had the hairiest freaking shoulders EVER. I provide you with proof:

I swear to you that my legs looked nothing like that. I SWEAR! *blink, blink*

The point in all this is that I was a possessed maniac today with the getting of things done. I did way too much. Well, maybe not too much, but I did a lot.

Okay. Books.
Book #178 - Bite Club (Morganville Vampires #10) by Rachel Caine - I love the Morganville gang. Love them. They always find such delicious mayhem.

Well, I'm hot (in a sweaty way) and I kinda want to see if I have any peanut butter and chocolate hidden away somewhere.
I'm away.

But enough about me.

O.o
O.O

Shush. I'm thinking.
Yeah. I got nothing.

So. Books.
Book #177 - At Grave's End (Night Huntress #3) by Jeaniene Frost - I LOVED THIS ONE! I'M SWOONING HERE!

I'm going to go watch Stargate Atlantis with the boy. He needs some quality time with me and the Pegasus Galaxay.

Today, I think I saw 10 people in my office. TEN. It was phenomenally slow. So I finished two books and worked my way to about the halfway point of another. I wrote up 3 reviews. I answered the phone.

Which means that it was pretty much a normal Saturday for me.

Cole's home. I haven't seen him since he barricaded himself in his room as soon as his dad dropped him off to play whatever video game has caught his attention this week. I'm so tired right now, though, that it's probably a good thing. I'd be saying nonsensical things to him if we were trying to carry on a conversation.

Which, for some reason, reminds me that I'm all caught up on The Vampire Diaries. Good golly, that show's been amazing lately. Although I could have done without the whole Mia Kirshner thing. Her acting was so stilted. Especially when she was paired up onscreen with Nina Dobrev who has such an amazing range. Poor Mia. I don't remember her being as wooden in Wolf Lake. Does anybody remember that show. Paul Wesley was in it also. Although he went by a different name. He can't fool me, though. I know it was him.

Okay. Things of a bookish variety.
Book #161 - Lucas (Black Cougar #1) by Eliza Gayle - Well, this one started out strong and then it died on me.
Book #162 - Serenity's Dream (The Sapphire Club #1) by Brita Addams - and... no. A little character development would have been nice.
Book #163 - No Rest for the Wicca by Toni LoTempio - Finally one where I didn't end up confused by either the characters or the ending. I was getting worried there for a while.

Well. I'm pretty tired. I think I'll finish watching Fringe and then go to bed.

Today I...

1. successfully assembled Cole's Science Project display because that poor kid has no sense of what's aesthetically pleasing.
2. had my toes done (and they look goooood!).
3. took the longest hardest nap you can imagine. Seriously, if the alarm hadn't been set, I wouldn't have been awake to pick the kiddo up from school.
4. read a book.
5. wrote up my Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night posts for the book blog. I think this is the first time I've ever been ahead on posting.
6. had an amusing conversation on Twitter with one of my book blogging pals about how I fully believe she's training to be an astronaut. She claims she's not but obviously I'm right. Obviously.

So, yeah. I did stuff!
Also, I have this whole book thing going on...
Book #127 - The Heat (Big Bad Wolf #1) by Heather Killough-Walden - A fun, paranormal romp with werewolves! Boo-yah.
Book #128 - The Vampire Dimitri (Regency Draculia #2) by Colleen Gleason - I called a sexy vampire a crotchety old man in this review. That makes me laugh.
Teaser Tuesday (03/29/11) - Vampires, vampires and werewolves. I've finished all these books at this point, I just have to write up the final review.

I'm nearly 100% certain I can hit my goal of 130 books by the end of this month. I have one more day, I can read one measly little book.
And on that note...

The wee beastly boy (who's getting less wee every time I stand next to hm) spent the day with his dad. Do you want to know what I did while he was gone? I watched movies with Hailey. We started with Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, moved onto Hotel for Dogs, and ended with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Admittedly, I slept through a lot of all three of them but they were on while I was in the room so that must count for something.

Other than that, I did nothing today. Well, I might have read a book or two.
Book #122 - The Vampire's Bride (Atlantis #4) by Gena Showalter - Vampires and Amazon warriors make for an explosive combination.
Book #123 - The Amazon's Curse (Atlantis #5) by Gena Showalter - I liked that the series was tied up but I really wished this had been a full length novel.
In My Mailbox (03/27/11) - Short and sweet this week. I was good and didn't go hog wild with the amazon buying. Yay, me!

I have two more reviews written up which will be posted tomorrow and half of a third. Those 3 books put me at 126 for the year. I was trying really, really hard to hit 130 by the end of this month. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do that. Pretty sure.

I'm working extra hours this week so the boss lady and I can get the tenant database rebuilt before the beginning of April. We're going to be busting our butts to get it done. I don't mind all that much because the money will be nice in the end. And maybe I won't have to pay my tax guy after this paycheck. Doesn't that suck when you think you have extra money and then stupid stuff pops up and sucks it all away? Poo.

Anyway. Lots of extra hours this week. I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle working nearly full time. Seriously. I'm feeling woozy just thinking about it.

So, yeah. Books.
Book #115 - The Fire Inside (Sidekicks) by Raymond Rose - I ended up liking this one a lot more than I thought I would. It was kinda cool.
Book #116 - Evolution's Darling by Scott Westerfeld - This book was a little more old-school sci-fi than I've read in a while. I had to look up a word. In the dictionary. I KNOW!
Book #117 - Evernight (Evernight #1) by Claudia Gray - I had some serious issues with this book. The biggest one being that I felt lied to over the 1st 3rd of the book. Uggh.

I have done nothing today. I read a little. I slept a little. I watched a few episodes of Supernatural season 4. I did manage to make it up to Target but I only bought cereal. Go figure.

However, my slug-like tendencies today were offset by the wedding the fam went to yesterday. It was in Sacramento and the drive kinda sucked. It rained. Hard. I don't so much care for the driving in the rain. Especially when it's coming down so hard you can't see the lines on the road. Yeah. Not fun.

The wedding was nice. Short, to the point and I got to see all the extended family. Nice.

So, there.

I did a bunch of bookish-type things. Because I do that sometimes.
Book #112 - Wild Desire by Lori Brighton - A fun, historical romance with a touch of the paranormal. More than a touch, actually. I liked it.
Book #113 - Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs (Jane Jameson #1) by Molly Harper - Not a bad book, but not really my cup of tea. It's that whole "humorous paranormal romances tend to try to hard" lament that I've harped on before.
Book #114 - Maggie's Mates by Bronwyn Green - A sexy threesome with black bear shifters. I didn't even know those type of shifters existed.
On My Wishlist - Random, low priced books that I want.
In My Mailbox - I was good this week. Mostly.

I'm all caught up now. Isn't that awesome!?!?
Okay. I have to start some laundry and make sure Cole's lunch is made and other exciting stuff that I don't want to overwhelm you with.

Oh.My.Fucking.God. Today was the longest day EVER! *cue dramatic flailing* I was computerless all day and I literally had nothing to do at work. Everything I could have done required a computer so I sat there and read. All day. I finished two books. And part of another one. I made plans with [livejournal.com profile] oddmonster to read The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook on Monday. I'm not quite sure how we're going to work the reading together thing when we're a couple of time zones apart but I believe in the power of Twitter! I do believe in Twitter! I do! I do!

Yeah. So I'm looking forward to more uninterrupted reading time tomorrow since I still won't have a computer. I already have the next 2 1/2 books picked out.

Anyway. Books.
Book #102 - Kiss Me, Kill Me anthology - Decent enough (especially for the under-a-buck price) but the story that made it all worthwhile was Impulse Control by Susan Bischoff. I'm ready to go buy the rest of that series right now.
Book #103 - How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire (Love at Stake #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks - Definitely on the fun end of the spectrum, but the thing that stood out for me were all the Highland warriors. Delish!
Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday & Tagalong Friday - What I'd do with $80, the essential me and how many erotic books I buy a month. Once again, [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03 gets a shout out. Those that read my book blog are going to feel like they know her with all these Lacey references I'm throwing out there.

I have to admit that other than working and napping, I didn't do a whole heck of a lot today. Oh, well. It happens. I guess. I did watch the most recent episode of Fringe which I thought was pretty darn good.

Which reminds me, did I ever mention that I watched everything on my DVR the other night? Everything. Even the movie that had been on there since October of 2009. No, that's not a typo. It had been on my DVR for a year and a half before I got around to watching it. And might I just say that the wait didn't do it any favors. What movie? you ask. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I have to admit that I wasn't all that impressed. The special effects were borderline painful to watch. The storyline wasn't terrible but it didn't have nearly the oomph that the first UW movie had. I think that if they'd had more pretty, rippling man-flesh for me to drool over I could have overlooked all that. Alas, it wasn't to be. By the by, Rona Mitra and Kate Beckinsale look freakishly alike. Seriously.

Okay. Onto my books!
Book #90 - Hunting Human by Amanda E. Alvarez - Wow. I really, really liked this one.
Book #91 - Sabine (And the Beast #1) by Moira Rogers - And another one that I absolutely loved. I really love it when I have a run of great reads. It's downright exhilarating.
Teaser Tuesday (03/01/11) - Werewolves, werewolves, vampires, vampires. Isn't that lovely!?!

I am done now. My stomach is growling. This confuses me since I ate dinner. A good dinner. I really shouldn't be hungry.
I must go find food.
Later.

Hey, guys! It's Eric's birthday today. I don't even think he does the LJ thing anymore but I'm such an awesome friend that I text messaged him to tell him he's a loser for not reading any books yet this year AND I'm posting it here!

Happy birthday, Dude! May your day be filled with people who don't smell like either cats or onions. At the same time or separately. I write this because I CARE! Happy non-smelling birthday!

So. Work today. It was easy. Epically so. I finished two books that I'd started the other day and read two new ones. That's four books, guys. FOUR! I get paid to read. How awesome is that?!?!

Since I'm on the subject- Books.
Book #86 - The Sevenfold Spell by Tia Nevitt - A fast, fun take on the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. Only the heroine is a kinda trampy girl who's incredibly ordinary.
Book #87 - Reunion (Vampires Realm) by Felicity Heaton - Sexy vampires! You gotta love that. Another fast and fun read with some blood and guts thrown in for good measure.
Book #88 - Steam & Sorcery (Gaslight Chronicles) by Cindy Spencer Pape - Oh, wow. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There's steampunkery, knights, magick and supernatural critters. It was just this awesome blend of all those things with a love story about a knight and a governess as the icing on the cake.
On My Wishlist (week 23) - The Bargain Hunter's (3rd) Edition. With books (mostly) under $3.

I have one more review to write but I was starting to get a little goofy and had to step aside before I wrote crazy, crazy stuff.

And now I'm done.
Later.
