I bought this one because of Kevin Zegers who plays one of the supporting parts. But I loved it because of the friendship among the women - and Hugh Dancy. He's absolutely perfect here as the dorky, super intelligent but so not cool dude, and him and Maria Bello are the best - and most interesting couple for me - in the film. Loved it. Loved it so much. What a feel good film.

Saw Dunkirk. Disappointed. Scattered, splintered, non-linear story that didn’t reveal enough about anyone to make me care. The most interesting part was the non-linear story telling, TBH.

I didn't like the movie. The main hero, played by Bradley Cooper, was an entitled ass and I didn't feel sorry for him at all throughout the film. I did like the ending, though, when he outsmarted the mob guy played by Robert de Niro, that was cool. But the rest... Well, I watched/bought it mostly because I wanted to know more about the background before diving into the TV show. Hm, we'll see when I'll get around to watching that ;P

These last few weeks, I watched some TV shows, too, not just movies. Like NCIS:LA S2 (for Densi) and Covert Affairs S1 (for Auggie Anderson) on DVD, and then Stitchers S1 downloaded (for Camsten). I also started watching Elementary S1 on Netflix, just to have something where I don't care about the fandom or shipping or anything like that at all and that I can fall back on when my current fandom - Shadowhunters - pisses me off, which it's been doing more and more lately.

And now I'm watching Doctor Who S10. Apparently, the new Doctor should be announced today. I'm already dreading it because whoever it'll be, I bet a shit storm of hate will follow because that's how the net's rolling these days. Me? Cynical? Why do you think?

I saw this in the cinema and really liked it. But now, having seen it on DVD again... eh. I still liked Tris and Four, they were great, but the rest seemed rather boring and slow. I think they could've cut good 40 mins, then it might've had some juice in it. Too bad. Though really, one has to suspend their disbelief watching this - and similar movies - because the whole faction system and whatnot... ugh. I get it, it was an experiment, like in The Maze Runner, still *shrugs* If there was at least more suspense and thrill in it.
