I had a phenomenal sleeping day today. Seriously, I think I've slept more in the past few days than normal people sleep all week. I have some mad sleeping skillz, yo! Olympic quality, even. It would be as boring as hell to watch but I'd take the gold without a doubt.

Cole has this nasty mucous-y cold but their doing state testing for the next few weeks so I'm forcing him to go to school. You might be thinking that I'm a mean mom but allow me to point out that he missed an entire week of school a few weeks ago with the stomach flu. So, yeah. He can deal with the snot.

Okay. Now that I've used the word "mucous" I can get onto the book portion of the evening.
Book #148 - Phoenix Rising (Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences #1) by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris - A bullet proof corset. I think that says it all. Also, the characters were fabulous and snarky. Loved them.
Book #149 - Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander #1) by Karen Marie Moning - So incredibly different from her Fever series but still an enormous amount of fun. With time travel! To the Highlands!
Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday & Tagalong Friday - If you've ever been curious about what I think of [livejournal.com profile] malkovich03, here's your chance to find out. As a bonus there might be a picture of a sexy tattooed man. Because I like sexy tattooed men.

I can safely say that I'm going to hit my book reading goal for the year seeing as how I've already finished book #150 (literally about 30 minutes ago, so it hasn't been reviewed yet). I think I'll increase the goal up to 450. That's a nice number, don't you think?

However, I'm going to wait until I get that 150th review up so I can look all accomplished and shit. Yay, books!

Okay. I'm done. For serious. I'm going to go veg out and watch something inane and brainless. Hopefully with Zombies. Of course, if I do go with Zombies they won't be brainless. I mean, they will be but they'll be eating them so... yeah. I've lost my train of thought with this one.
Later.
