I had my bitchy post earlier so this one is going to be easy breezy, yo.

First off, Cole got an A+ on his China project for school. Yay! I think the thing that contributed the most to that was the crossbow he built with his dad. Yes, he really built a crossbow. The thing is fucking amazing. I wouldn't have known where to even start with it and his dad takes a look at a picture of a crossbow and constructs one from that. Whoa. Stuff like that impresses me because it's so outside the realm of what I'm able to do.

Since this is my last full week before starting my new (part-time) job, I've declared this "Read Until My Eyes Bleed" week. It started yesterday and will run through next Monday. So far I've written up 4 reviews and I just finished one more book. I'm almost 200 pages into an ARC that I hope to have done tomorrow and then I'm going to read the trashiest things I can get my hands on. The bad news here is that I have my cousin's bridal shower to go to on Saturday. In Sacramento. That's a 2 hour drive from my house. 2 hours there, 2 hours back plus the party. Crap. There goes a big chunk of my reading time.

I guess I'll have to make up for it tomorrow and Friday. :)

Okay. Books.
Book #43 - Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis #1) by Gena Showalter - Fun! Fun with Dragon shifters in the underwater city of Atlantis! And there are vampires and bad, bad men who feed on greed and hatred. I kinda liked it. Can you tell?
Book #44 - Heat Stroke (Weather Warden #2) by Rachel Caine - A nice continuation of the WW series. I'm totally confuzzled by what the big event at the end is going to mean for the rest of the books.

Alright. I want to get the next review written up and my Saturday post written up so that I can post it early Saturday and not have to think about it.
